MIH HEALTHCARE LIMITED trades as ‘ 365 Group Care’ due to the

nature that we offer care 24 hours a day , 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

The MIH comes from the belief installed in the company directors long time working belief in ‘ making it happen ‘ , to asses a situation and develop a strategy to make a situation move forward in the best interest of the individual needing support.

MIH healthcare offers a wealth of personal and functional care and associated domestic services to meet the needs of dependent individuals in need of support; these may include older people, those with a disability and people who need assistance due to illness to continue living in their own homes and community. This will be achieved by promoting a standard of excellence which embraces fundamental principles of good care practice that is witnessed and evaluated through the practice, conduct and control of quality care in the domestic environment.

Care is provided in partnership with those needing support , their carers and relatives, respecting their diverse needs, preferences and choices. It is standard practice for a member of our management team to visit each individual before commencing the service to be able to understand the individuals situation and then provide the most suitable package accordingly.

MIH healthcare believes that, for services to be effective, they should be based on sound values and principles and an understanding of the fundamental and individual needs of service users. The Service Values are as follows:

Privacy

The right of individuals to be left alone or undisturbed and free from intrusion or public attention into their affairs. This is taken into account in the formulation of Care Plans, and will only be overridden in exceptional circumstances, and with the knowledge of each individual or their advocate.

Confidentiality

The confidentiality of the individuals we support is, wherever possible, maintained. On occasion, it will be necessary, for the benefit of the individuals or others to share personal information with either other professionals or organisations. Where possible, those we support are consulted and their views taken into account.

Dignity

All individuals, whatever their circumstances, have the right to be treated with dignity and respect.

Communication

Individuals we support have the right to be heard and to be fully informed on all aspects of their care. Methods of communication are appropriate to the particular abilities and experiences of each individual, and are tailored to each particular set of circumstances.

Independence

Everyone we support are enabled to act independently. Services are aimed at maximising the individual’s capacity for self-care and mobility.

Risk Taking

Individuals are entitled to make decisions about their daily lives and activities. This may, from time to time, result in a conflict between ensuring safety and maximising independence. Service users will be supported in their decisions to take reasonable risks.

Fulfillment

Every individual, whatever their circumstances, has the potential for development, and the right to hold personal aspirations. Within the boundaries set by legislation and professional social work ethics, individuals we support are encouraged in achieving their personal goals.

Rights

The rights of citizenship are safeguarded for all those we support, Work should be conducted in a manner that facilitates empowerment and makes appropriate use of advocacy. 

Choice

Services are designed to be accessible and flexible, promoting ordinary lifestyles and based upon individuals own choices. Individual choice is promoted, within the limits imposed by service constraints.

Carer Support

The value of the contribution of carer and family support is fully recognised. The needs of carers providing, or intending to provide, regular or substantial care is, where requested, assessed independently of the needs of the individuals supported. The outcome of the assessment is taken into account when agreeing Care Plans.

Nature of The Services Provided

At MIH healthcare we have trained staff who meet service users, prior to commencing service, to agree the care needs requirements and assess each individual before service is offered including aspects such as when the service will begin and the times, frequency and duration of care to be provided.

The carers that MIH healthcare employs are trained in accordance with Skills for Care Common induction as well as bespoke training tailored to meet the meet the specific needs of their client group. Furthermore, they are supervised and supported to provide a quality service to a wide range of people who need care and support whilst living in their own homes, ensuring:
